JC is a serial entrepreneur and a leading UX designer. Having navigated the world of online dating since 2007, JC has seen its slow evolution and the persistent challenges it faces. The lack of positive experiences and untapped opportunities to disrupt the industry inspired the creation of Fyrefly—a platform designed to transform millions of lives and redefine what online dating can be.
With a proven track record in mobile design and development that drives consumer revenue, JC merges vision, creativity, and expertise to lead the next generation of online dating. Committed to building a strong team with the right resources, JC is on a mission to revolutionize the market through bold innovation.

An early adopter of online dating, Gala combines her deep knowledge with brand strategy and design expertise. Since graduating from OCAD University, she has worked with North America’s top design and advertising firms, leading campaigns and rebrands for major global brands. Recognized among Canada’s top designers in the Strategy Report Card, her work has earned accolades from the Advertising & Design Club of Canada, Clio Awards, CMA Awards, Communication Arts, and more. Passionate about entrepreneurship and bringing bold brands to life, she continues to push creative boundaries.
